Heroes of Arkesia,

A new power emerges in Arkesia on February 26 as the Wildsoul class makes its grand debut.

Downtime will begin on February 26 at 12 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. UTC, and is estimated to last up to 18 hours. The February update introduces massive Ark Passive system overhauls, balance updates, new events, and a fresh lineup of skins and stronghold items. Additionally, older content like Platinum Field and Challenge Guardian Raids will be removed to streamline progression and make way for a more refined adventure.

Wildsoul Class Release

The Wildsoul is the latest Specialist class that channels the primal energy of animals sealed within mystical scrolls, seamlessly blending illusions and shapeshifting in combat.

They can summon phantom beasts to fight alongside them or transform into one themselves, shifting between two distinct forms to adapt to any battle.

  • Bear Form empowers Wildsouls with overwhelming melee strength, allowing them to crush enemies with devastating, heavy attacks.

These events are crafted to support both new and seasoned players, offering avenues for progression, collaboration, and exclusive rewards — perfect for adding a Wildsoul or other character to the roster.

Mokoko Bootcamp Event

Mokoko Bootcamp returns, encouraging veteran players to assist new and returning adventurers in raids, and fostering a supportive community and offering exclusive rewards for both groups. This event aims to support new and returning players in overcoming high party finder standards and to reward veterans eager to assist them. The event will continue until May 21.

  • Eligibility:

    • Mokoko Players: Item level below 1670 and:

    • New accounts created after or within 60 days after the event start date.

    • Returning accounts that haven’t logged in for over 60 days or returned within 60 days of the event start date.

    • Veteran Players: Active players not meeting the above criteria.

    • Available for the following Raids/Dungeons:

      • Ivory Tower

      • Thaemine

      • Echidna

      • Behemoth

      • Aegir Normal

  • Event Mechanics:

    • Participate in raids with at least one Mokoko player.

    • Both Mokoko and veteran players earn tokens to exchange for rewards.

  • Major Rewards:

    • Bracelet Effect Rework Ticket

    • Leap Legendary Card Selection Pack II

Mokoko Challenge Express Event

This event provides a significant progression boost for a designated character, helping players level up their gear efficiently. Through challenge missions and solo mode raids, participants can earn valuable rewards, making it easier for both new and returning players to establish themselves in Arkesia. This event also helps players — especially those leveling up the new class — progress through both new and existing characters, while providing a solid foundation for new and returning players to establish themselves in Arkesia. The event will continue until May 21.

  • Eligibility:

    • Players can designate one character between Item Level 1580 — 1641 to receive the event benefits.

  • Event Mechanics:

    • The designated character will receive a powerful honing boost up to Item Level 1640, with additional boosts and rewards available up to 1660.

    • Challenge missions will require players to clear specific solo mode raids, rewarding them after each successful raid.

  • Major Rewards:

    • Lv.6 & Lv.7 T4 Gems

    • Artisan’s Tailoring/Metallurgy Items

    • Transcendence Ruins Restoration Tickets

    • Dark Fire

Event Guardian Raid Event

The Event Guardian Raid challenges players to take on different guardians each day, earning special coins that can be exchanged for various rewards in the event shop. Players can participate once per day per character, maximizing their opportunities to collect event-exclusive rewards. The event will continue until April 23.

  • Eligibility:

    • Available to all characters.

  • Event Mechanics:

    • Players can participate in the Event Guardian Raid once per day per character.

    • Each day, players will face a different guardian.

    • Successfully defeating the guardian grants special coins.

    • Coins can be exchanged for various rewards in the event shop.

South Kurzan Event Powerpass

A South Kurzan event Powerpass will be granted to players. Using a South Kurzan Powerpass will drop the designated character off at Item Level 1585 as if they have completed the South Kurzan storyline. The event Powerpass will be availble to claim and use until May 21.

Advanced Honing Support Event

Aimed at players with at least one character above item level 1620, this event offers opportunities to engage in advanced honing activities, granting rewards to further enhance gear and performance. This event is built to help players in progressing through advanced honing by providing support materials and rewards. The event will continue until April 23.

  • Eligibility:

    • Roster Requirement: Players must have at least one character with an item level above 1620.

  • Event Mechanics:

    • Advanced Honing Progression: Participants can engage in advanced honing activities to receive rewards that assist with the honing system.

    • One-Time Rewards: Rewards can be claimed only once per roster.

This update brings a fundamental shift to Ark Passive mechanics, gear progression, and accessories, streamlining how players unlock and enhance their power across all tiers.

Ark Passive now unlocks from character creation, evolving dynamically as players progress. Evolution and Enlightenment mechanics have been revamped, refining how armor and accessories contribute to combat effectiveness. Meanwhile, the Engraving and Ability Stone systems have been modernized, removing outdated mechanics and ensuring smoother progression. Additionally, major content adjustments, including reduced monster HP, improved Hyper Awakening skills, and memory chamber additions, help refine the overall gameplay experience. These changes aim to reduce complexity, unify gear progression, and enhance accessibility, allowing players to focus more on combat mastery and customization.

General Updates

  • Ark Passive now unlocks upon character creation.

  • Each passive now unlocks upon fulfilling specific activation conditions.

  • The Ark Passive information is now displayed in the Character Information window for combat level 50+.

Ark Passive Evolution Changes

  • Unlocks at Combat Level 50.

  • Evolution Passive Effects can now be applied using Evolution Points, which are acquired by equipping and upgrading armor.

  • Can now be refined up to 2 stages regardless of their rank.

  • Elegant Gem Shards are now provided for refining.

  • Accessory chests are now provided via universal storage.

  • Owned Tier 3 accessories have been replaced with the restructured Tier 3 accessories.

  • Restructured accessories can now be honed up to 2 stages, and they are replaced without the refine.

  • Now, for each Tier 3 accessory, some Elegant Gem Shards are provided via the universal storage.

  • The quality and trade count of the restructured accessories remains the same as the original items.

  • Quality is now displayed as a numeric value based on the item's actual stats. While the functional stat conversion remains unchanged, minor discrepancies may appear in the displayed quality value.

ENGRAVING SYSTEM UPDATES

  • Updated Engraving UI now allows selection of combat engravings based on Item Level:

    • After completing “A Kingdom Reclaimed” Quest: 2 engravings

  • Class Engravings have been removed and replaced with Ark Passive Enlightenment Effects.
