Uncharted islands have emerged from the mists, a forgotten cathedral holds new challenges, and a massive wave of progression events is here to help you and your friends gear up for what comes next. Whether you're a returning adventurer or diving in for the first time, this update has something for you.

This update introduces the Cadarum Isles, the Horizon Cathedral Abyssal Dungeon, the 2026 Global Exclusive cosmetics collection, a new Ark Pass, five progression events, class balance adjustments, raid gold changes, and more. Downtime will begin on June 10 at 12 AM PT (7 AM UTC) and is expected to last 6 hours. Read on for the full list of new content, events, store offerings, and other changes below.

CADARUM ISLES

The war with Kazeros is over, but peace has not reached every corner of Arkesia. Beyond the Sea of Gienah, the Cadarum Isles have fallen under the shadow of the Twilight. What truth lies hidden among these islands, and what awaits those brave enough to seek it?

  • Accept the episode by interacting with "Journey's Footsteps" in Iceblood Plateau, Shushire. (Also available in Elnead, South Kurzan, and Bellion Ruins, South Vern.)

  • Once you've progressed far enough in the Main Story Quest, you'll need to hit Item Level 1700+ and complete the main story quest "Inherited Will" (the final quest in the "Facing the End of the Abyss" main story quest chain). Players under Item Level 1700 can check their Quest Journal for prerequisite quests.

  • Once you've reached Item Level 1700 and have completed the main story quest pre-reqs, the main quest "Destiny's New Chapter" will be completed during the episode.

  • You will obtain the new ship "Luminas" during the main story quest. It is provided at Level 6 upon acquisition and cannot be upgraded at this time. (Upgrades and exclusive crew members will be added in a future update.)

  • Added an Ocean Liner to travel between the Cadarum Isles and other continents. Available after visiting Cadarum.

  • Added new related achievements. Added Knowledge Transfer for the main story quest.

  • Adventurer's Tome, Chaos Gates, Field Bosses, and Trade Skills gathering nodes do not appear in Cadarum.

Note: Some Yaruz Rapport Quests, along with Yonfay Rapport progress, will be inaccessible during the main story quest.

COLLECTIBLES

  • Added World Tree Leaves #119 and #120 with related quests.

  • 120 World Tree Leaves reward: Title "World Tree's Chosen", Structure "Sacred Verdant Tree" (from Great Trade Skill Master's Chest).

  • Added new Sea Bounty "Adventure: Sacrian Censer" ([Exchange] Open Seas - New Vernese Scout Ship).

  • Completing 50 Sea Bounties unlocks the item "Completed Adventure Record" which starts the Adventure Quest "Waves and Sea Shanties" (once per Roster).

  • Rewards: Structure "Great Explorer's Telescope", Trophy "Great Voyage Map", Sea of Procyon soundtrack for the Jukebox in the Stronghold.

HORIZON CATHEDRAL

A new challenge awaits in the Cadarum Isles. Horizon Cathedral is a 4-player Abyssal Dungeon opening one week after the update on June 17, offering a fresh endgame experience with an accessible format and meaningful rewards.

  • Added new Abyssal Dungeon "Horizon Cathedral."

  • Consists of Stages 1 to 3, with 2 Gates per stage. Entry counts are shared across stages.

  • Requires a 4-player party.

  • Requirement: Complete the main quest "After the Resonance Stops" (cleared alongside the Cadarum Isles episode).

  • Item Level Requirements: Stage 1 (1700+), Stage 2 (1720+), Stage 3 (1750+).

  • Entry via major cities' object, Party Finder, or Content Guide (Alt+Q).

  • Gate progress is saved upon claiming rewards. You can vote to Proceed or Stop and resume later.

  • Infinite revives available (10-second cooldown, Phoenix Plume or 10 Crystals). A party wipe results in a failed attempt.

REWARDS

  • Shares weekly gold limits and bonus reward counts with other endgame content.

  • Gold rewards in this dungeon are Character-Bound Gold (not tradeable or Roster-Bound).

  • First clear reward given once per character regardless of stage.

  • Gate clears provide Graced Shards, Ark Grid Cores, and Character-Bound Gold.

  • Bonus rewards ("View More") are available after clearing each gate.

CRAFTING NPC — DENI

New crafting NPC "Deni" added in major cities (Mirror available in Elgacia). Uses "Graced Shard" to craft:

  • Ark Grid Core Crafting: Relic Core Chest, Random Relic Core Chest, Ancient Core Chest and Random Ancient Core Chest (Order/Chaos - Sun/Star/Moon)

  • Craft Astrogems: Epic Select/Random Chests

Select a character between Item Level 1640 and 1700 to activate the Express Event and receive massive progression support.

  • Honing success rate increased by 300% through Item Level 1700

  • 78% discount on honing materials from 1640 to 1680

  • 150,000 bound gold available across milestones

TWILIGHT ROAD

A follow-up challenge event for characters Item Level 1700 to 1730, with milestone rewards at every 5 Item Level increments.

PARADISE SEASON 1 ORB REMOVAL

With the Paradise Season 4 update on July 15, Paradise Season 1 Orbs will be removed from the game. Any remaining Season 1 Orbs will be automatically removed when the update is applied. Going forward, only the three most recent seasons of Paradise Power data will be retained, covering roughly one year of content.

This will be the standard going forward. Each time a new Paradise season launches, the oldest season's Orbs will be retired. When Season 5 launches, Season 2 Orbs will be removed, and so on.

Most players have already transitioned to newer Orbs naturally through progression. No compensation will be provided for removed Orbs.

If you're still using Season 1 Orbs, we recommend upgrading to a newer season before July 15.

AZENA'S BLESSING FATE EMBER CARD PACK UPDATE

The Azena's Blessing Fate Ember card pack has been updated with new items:

  • Added "Longing Legendary Card Pack" containing 31 legendary cards including Serca, Resurrecting Kazeros, and Behemoth of Storm.

  • Added "Leap Legendary Card Selection Pack III".

SOUND ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

The sound system has been optimized and sound resources have been reorganized to improve client stability.

  • This change affects the sound output mechanism only and does not impact sound quality or game performance.

  • Due to the data format replacement, this update will include approximately 20GB of sound-related file downloads.

  • Since existing data is being replaced, your total storage size will not change.
