Heroes of Arkesia,
The Arkesia Ignited Update arrives on October 9. The time for the Allied Forces to gather in North Kurzan and unite in battle against Kazeros’ demonic legions approaches. Many changes have released in Lost Ark over the past few years, from Solo Raids, to progression updates and overhauls to activities, to a gauntlet of challenging and engaging raids. With the Tier 4 update, Arkesia is about to evolve again — making it the perfect time to embark on your adventure, or resume where you left off.
To bolster the ranks of players ready to enter Tier 4, a special progression event arrives in the form of Ignite Servers. These accelerated servers will quickly level players up to 1620 and give them the tools to enter the fray, joining veteran players in the campaign against Kazeros. We’ll guide you through the Ignite Server experience and how you or your friends joining the fight will be prepared for the challenges to come.
Ignite Server Overview
One Ignite Server will be added to each region, with the goal of rapidly arming a group of reinforcements with the gear, skills, and knowledge to enter the battle against Kazeros at their own accelerated pace. All the materials and items a player needs to reach 1620 will be granted to them by the variety of events in Ignite Servers. The Ignite Servers will not be monetized, apart from players being able to purchase some cosmetic options. The primary goal for Ignite Servers are to teach players the basics of Lost Ark in a special environment, quickly letting participants learn about key systems, how to build a character, and how to challenge foes either by themselves in Solo Raids, or with other new recruits in group raids. Matchmaking will be isolated to only include other Ignite participants.
Players will begin their journey at Voldis, as if they’ve completed the Voldis World Quests, equipped with Item Level 1540 Gear, at Combat Lv. 60, and possessing many Runes (including Legendary) except from those gained from the Tower and Collectible Point rewards.
From that starting point, players will have a special progression event with buffs and new UI systems built to guide them through building their character and the leveling experience, granting a monumental level of support to quickly reach Item Level 1620. This tailored experience is specially constructed to serve as a bootcamp, which will let players graduate at their own pace. While the servers will be active for 7 weeks, an active player striving to enter the fray will be able to do so in just a few weeks.
On Ignite Servers, the Market and Auction houses will be disabled. As mentioned previously, all the materials and items a player needs to reach 1620 will be granted to them by the variety of events in Ignite Servers. Not every experience in Arkesia will be available to challenge on Ignite Servers. Players will need to transfer to a legacy server to challenge threats at Item Level 1620, such as Echidna, Behemoth, North Kurzan, and Tier 4. Players can graduate to conquer these experiences when joining the ranks of veteran players.
Ignite Server participants will be able to create up to 6 characters on the Ignite Server to try different playstyles, but only one can be transferred to join the fight on a regular server. When a player is ready transfer, they will be given a generous cache of rewards and deposited in the frontlines of battle, ready to challenge the legions of Kazeros. Find more details in the Server Transfer section.
For some of the sections below, such as the Honing Boosts & Reward section and the Transfer Gift section, some of the various details may change slightly as final balance and tuning is applied. The goal of Ignite Servers is to strike a balance between getting players to the endgame quickly while still managing to effectively teach the multitude of systems. Even if things change slightly there’s no need to worry— Ignite Server progression is not monetized in any way— you will still have all the tools you need to successfully reach 1620 and join the fight.
Event Support
Along with new UI systems built to better teach players how to get up-to-speed on all things Lost Ark, a variety of impactful events will help players experience the basics on a fast track. Learn about some of the missions built to help players reach the endgame.
Ignite Express Event

For example, after finishing certain Ignite Missions, players will receive Lv. 40 Luck Elixir Set and Transcendence Lv. 3 on all armor pieces. Transfer Experience
There are two transfer experiences available to players when their spark has been successfully ignited and they are ready to graduate. Players will choose a server to transfer to and be able to choose the best option befitting their situation.
New Players - Roster Transfer
Returning or Veteran Players - Character Transfer
Before we dive into the differences of each experience, there are a few shared experiences across both options.
Players must leave their guild before transferring.
All items that the transferring character has will be carried over with the character, sent to the Universal Storage of the target server.
Only one character can be transferred, and any others will be deleted when the transfer takes place.
Items with a drop limit or at risk of abuse will not be transferred and will be deleted. Trade (Life) materials, Gold, and Silver will not be transferred. Instead, large amounts will be granted in the transfer gift. Learn more about how players will be set up for success in their future battles below the transfer types.
Some items that cannot be re-acquired or that are too important to be deleted will be processed automatically through a 'preservation' feature and will be sent to the Universal Storage upon transfer.
Roster Transfer - Best for New Players
Players will be able to move their chosen character and all roster information to a server in their region where they have no existing roster or characters (rosters and characters can be removed, if the Ignite roster is leveled up). All items and information will be carried over apart from those mentioned above, and they will now have a Roster on that server, complete with their transfer gift.
Character Transfer - Returning & Veteran Players
Players will be able to transfer their chosen character and many items to join an existing roster within their region. The full policy will be released closer to the transfer date, please check back for all the details. All items in the Roster will be transferred along with the character, other than the following:
Trade (Life) Materials
Gold and Silver
Island Souls and other collectibles
Engraving Books and Chests
Special Equipment
Transfer Gift
The following gifts will be granted to characters once they transfer off of Ignite Servers. The rewards will scale based on the character’s achieved Item Level. This will be the final cache of items to prepare players for battle — and we think this will certainly set them up for success in their adventures in Arkesia. Some of the specific amount details may change slightly as final balance and tuning is applied, or potentially rebalanced to other progression events.
