Overview
The Ark Grid system will be the latest endgame progression system, unlocking powerful static and class-specific effects.
The Ark Grid has two main components; Cores and Astrogems. Cores are items that can be equipped into the Ark Grid to gain combat-related effects. Order-type Cores are class-specific and offer unique combat enhancements that enhance or modify the way you play your class. Chaos-type Cores are universal and usable by all classes. Each type contains subtypes based on celestial themes: Sun / Moon / Star, for a total offering of 6 unique effects. Cores can be obtained in the Kazeros Raid Act 4 and Kazeros Raid Denouement.
Astrogems are items equipped alongside Cores in the Ark Grid, unlocking Core Effects and granting additional combat enhancements. They come in two categories: Order Astrogems and Chaos Astrogems, with three subtypes, each offering unique combat effects. Astrogems can be earned from Kurzan Front Nefta Operations (1 and 2), Drextalas and Krathios Guardian Raids, 1700+ Chaos Gates auctions, and via crafting through a new NPC.
Ark Grid is applied per character.
It becomes available upon using your first obtained Core.
The initial core slot is 6 and One Core slot unlocks when the Ark Grid is first opened. One additional Core slot unlocks each week at weekly reset. Each Core slot has 4 connected Astrogem slots in a linear row. These Astrogem slots unlock alongside their Core slot.
The Ark Grid is not applied in content or regions with special stat balancing.
In the Trixion Training Room > Character Settings, Ark Grid effects apply but presets cannot be changed.
Core & Astrogem Registration and Equipping
Using a Core registers it to the Ark Grid.
You can equip Cores via the Slot Info UI in the Ark Grid.
Clicking a Core slot opens its Slot Info UI.
Equipped Cores can be freely unequipped.
Only one of each Core type can be equipped. For example, Only one "Star of Order" Core can be equipped within the Ark Grid.
Equipping a Core supplies Willpower to its slot.
Willpower flows into connected Astrogem slots to activate equipped Astrogems.
Willpower flows from the Core slot to the closest Astrogem slots first.
Activated Astrogems provide either Order or Chaos Core Points. When your total Core Points reach certain thresholds, additional Core Effects are unlocked.
Core Effect Activation Thresholds: 10 / 14 / 17 / 18 / 19 / 20 Points (These effects stack cumulatively.)
Players can equip refined Astrogems into Ark Grid Astrogem slots.
players can equip refined Astrogems into Astrogem slots.
Astrogems can be equipped via the Astrogem tab in the Slot Info UI of the Ark Grid.
Equipped Astrogems can be unequipped at any time.
Astrogems can only be equipped into Astrogem slots connected to a Core slot.
If no Core is equipped, Astrogem equipping is not available.
Only Astrogems of the same type (Order/Chaos) as the equipped Core can be slotted.
Astrogems are activated by Willpower supplied by the equipped Core.
Willpower flows into the 4 connected Astrogem slots in order, starting from the closest slot.
If a Astrogem is missing or insufficient Willpower is available, that slot and any further slots will not activate.
Only activated Astrogems will apply their combat effects and contribute Core Points (Order or Chaos). ※ Combat effects from multiple Astrogems will stack.
Ark Grid Cores
Cores are items that can be equipped into the Ark Grid to gain combat-related effects.
Order-type Cores are class-specific and offer unique combat enhancements.
Chaos-type Cores are universal and usable by all classes.
Cores are character-bound and their effects apply only when equipped.
Cores are classified into: Order or Chaos types. Each type contains subtypes based on celestial themes: Sun / Moon / Star, each offering 6 unique effects (e.g. Order Sun, Order Moon, Order Star).
Order Cores grant: Unique effects specific to the class
Chaos Cores grant: Universal effects available to all classes
Core Effect Activation : Core effects activate based on the total Core Points (Order or Chaos) from nearby activated Astrogems.
Effect Activation Thresholds : 10 / 14 / 17 / 18 / 19 / 20 Points (All thresholds stack cumulatively.)
Order Core effects only apply if the corresponding “Enlightenment” Ark Passive is active.
Cores come in four rarities: Epic > Legendary > Relic > Ancient
Higher-grade Cores provide more Willpower and unlock additional Point-based effects.
Core Effect values do not scale with grade, except at 17 Points, Ancient-grade Cores provide stronger effects than Relic-grade.
Simply equipping a Core does not apply its effects— players must also activate Astrogems around it to accumulate the required Core Points.
When users register a Core to the Ark Grid, you gain Core Essence.
Epic Core: 1 Essence, Legendary Core: 4 Essence, Relic Core: 15 Essence, Ancient Core: 50
Core Essence is a character bound.
You can use Core Essence to craft Core Boxes via the Ark Grid Specialist NPCs in major cities.
Core Boxes grant Ancient or Relic grade Cores matching your class.
Crafting requires Item Level 1700 or above.
Once crafted, a Core Box cannot be reverted back into Core Essence. Be sure to choose the correct box before crafting.
Astrogems
Astrogems are items equipped alongside Cores in the Ark Grid, unlocking Core Effects and granting additional combat enhancements
Astrogems are character-bound items that only apply their effects once equipped and activated.
Astrogems must be processed after use before they can be equipped into the Ark Grid.
Astrogems cannot be equipped if the Ark Grid is not unlocked or if no Core is slotted.
Astrogems come in two types: Order Astrogems and Chaos Astrogems. Each type includes three subtypes, each offering unique combat effects. Each subtype has its own Willpower requirement for activation.

Astrogems exist in different grades depending on their processing status:
Before Processing: Uncommon > Rare > Epic
After Processing: Legendary > Relic > Ancient
Astrogems are character-bound upon acquisition.
During the Astrogem Fusion process, there is a chance to obtain roster bound Astrogems.
Roster bound Astrogems can also be used as materials for fusion, but fusion results are random and may yield non-roster bound Astrogems.
Owned Astrogems can be disassembled to obtain Astrogem Shards:
Disassembling Order Astrogems > Order Astrogem Shards
Disassembling Chaos Astrogems > Chaos Astrogem Shards
Shards are stored per roster under:
Astrogem Shards can be used to craft the Astrogem
At Ark Grid Specialist NPCs in major cities, you can craft the following:
Order/Chaos Astrogem random chest
Order/Chaos Astrogem Shard
Random Astrogem Box by the T4 honing Material (Item Level 1720+ with a weekly limit)
Using Astrogems - Newly obtained Astrogems have no preset options.
Each Astrogem contains 4 Astrogem Points.
Upon use (right-click), these 4 points are equally distributed into 4 different random options.
Astrogem Option List:
Willpower Efficiency - Fixed Effect: This is an option that reduces the Willpower required to activate an Astrogem. It is always granted when using an Astrogem and does not change to other options during processing.
Core Point (Order/Chaos) - Fixed Effect: This is the Core Point applied based on the Astrogem’s type (Order/Chaos). It is always granted when using an Astrogem and does not change to other options during refinement.
Astrogem Option (2 Combat Effects) - Non-Fixed Effect: When an Astrogem is used, two out of four options (two offensive type and two supporter type based on the Astrogem’s subtype) are randomly determined. Through refinement, already assigned options can be changed to other non-fixed options.
Astrogem Processing
Astrogem Processing changes the Astrogem options and the Astrogem Points applied to each option.
Willpower Efficiency and Core Points (Order/Chaos) are not changed to other options during Astrogem Processing.
Each Astrogem option’s points can be increased up to 5 during processing and will not fall below 1.
Astrogems can be processed through the "Ark Grid Specialist" NPC in major cities.
If the Ark Grid has not been unlocked, Astrogems cannot be processed.
Four potential outcomes can appear during Astrogem Processing. One of the four potential outcomes is randomly applied during processing.
The number of times you can refresh these potential outcomes depends on the Astrogem’s grade.
Uncommon grade: 0 refreshes by default (refresh possible if other-view-increase chance is applied)
Rare grade: 1 refresh by default
Epic grade: 2 refreshes by default
Astrogems can only be processed within the set number of processing attempts.
The number of available processing attempts varies depending on the Astrogem’s grade.
Even if not all attempts are used, processing can be completed via the “Complete Processing” menu.
To use the Complete Processing menu, you must process at least once
Each processing attempt consumes a certain amount of Gold.
When using tradable or character-bound Gold and Roster-Bound Gold for Astrogem Processing, Trust Level increases.
The grade of the processed Astrogem is determined by the total number of Astrogem Points at the time processing is completed.
Legendary grade: Total Astrogem Points 4 - 15
Relic grade: Total Astrogem Points 16 - 18
Ancient grade: Total Astrogem Points 19 or more
Astrogems being processed can be reset once.
Resetting Astrogem Processing will return the Astrogem to its initial state before processing.
Options granted by Astrogem use are retained.
The four potential outcomes will newly appear after reset.
Astrogem Processing can only be reset if at least 1 processing attempt remains.
You can reset Astrogem Processing by clicking the “Reset” button in the Astrogem Processing UI.
Resetting Astrogem Processing consumes the item “Astrogem Processing Reset Ticket.”
Astrogem Fusion
Players can fuse 3 Astrogems to create 1 new Astrogem. Astrogem Fusion can be performed through the "Ark Grid Specialist" NPC in major cities.
If the Ark Grid has not been unlocked, Astrogems cannot be fused.
Only the following types of Astrogems can be used as materials for Astrogem Fusion: Processed Astrogems or Astrogems that require processing.
Fusion is only possible between Astrogems of the same status.
Astrogems currently being processed cannot be fused.
As long as the status is the same, Astrogems can be fused regardless of their type or grade. For example:
“Order Astrogem: Stability (Uncommon grade)” and “Chaos Astrogem: Collison (Heroic grade)” that both require processing can be fused together.
Once Astrogem Fusion is complete, you will obtain a Astrogem with the same status as the materials used.
When fusing Astrogems that require processing, there is a chance to obtain a roster-bound Astrogem. Roster-bound Astrogems can be processed after use, and become character-bound upon use.
Astrogems of different grades can be fused together. The grade of the resulting Astrogem is determined at a certain probability based on the grades of the materials used.
The higher the grade of the materials, the higher the chance of obtaining a high-grade Astrogem through fusion.
Astrogem Fusion supports an “Auto-Register Until All Registered Astrogems Are Used” feature. When this feature is applied, the selected type of Astrogem is automatically registered as material until it is depleted.
Astrogem Fusion consumes a certain amount of Gold. Trust Level does not increase when Gold is consumed through Astrogem Fusion.
Western System Changes
Our team collaborated with Smilegate RPG to customize the system a bit for the western version. We hope this makes progressing through the system easier, with less fear of missing out on needing to immediately max out the system.
In the West, Astrogems will not be tradeable and cannot be listed on the Auction. Instead, when fusing them, you have a 50% chance of them fusing into a roster-bound Astrogem that you can move to another character on your roster if you wish. Roster bound Astrogems (Gems from fusion) processing uses silver instead of gold. Character bound Astrogems still require gold to process. This change is built to help ease player progression through the system.
There will be an NPC where you can spend some gold each week if you want to buy more Astrogems, but there will be a weekly limit on the amount that can be purchased, and bound gold from Paradise can be used.
Added an Astrogem processing option reroll ticket. This will be provided through events and the in-game shop. The ticket can only be used once per Astrogem.
